Journee Bio Corbieres 2019

The 17th Journee Bio Corbieres is to be held on Sunday 19th May, at the Domaine de Bonnafous, Villesèque. Opens 9am until 18.30

Organised by the association LURIO ADDL with the support if the Intercommunity the Journee Bio Corbieres is a great day out, and a chance to meet local organic producers and wine makers. there are a wide range of activities, conferences, and naturally organic wine tasting. Locally produced organic food is available at lunchtime. And there is a great selection of organic plants, we will be there with our organic herbs, as will Myriam with her superb organic vegetable plants, the Talos organic rose guy has the most amazing selection of Roses I have ever seen, Manu will be there with her organic essential oil based produce, Giles with his organic snails, and acquired taste it has to be said, Mathieu’s lovely organic goats cheese and a whole host of other producers, renewable energy suppliers, eco associations, eco publishers, a mini farm  and naturally an organic bar.

We love the Journee Bio Corbieres because we get to see all the organic orientated local producers from the Corbieres, who other wise, like us, are to busy in Spring to socialise.

The number of organic producers in the Corbieres is slowly but surely increasing, it is a combination of wine makers converting to organic production, new arrivals buying old vine yards and going into organic production, and also new arrivals setting up a wide range of organic enterprises, honey, aromatic plants, poultry and live stock. The Journee Bio Corbieres is a great opportunity for us al to get together and present our produce to people from the Corbieres and beyond.
